The tiller is equipped with a cardan shaft for connecting to the tractor PTO, a 3-point hitch system (on a tractor of the appropriate power), a solid frame, a closed gearbox in an oil bath (used to reduce speed), replaceable cutting knives of right and left orientation, and a protective cover for knives.

The pressure of the casing can be adjusted: weakening the pressure increases the size of the earth particles, and strengthening - contributes to their more thorough fragmentation due to intense impacts on the metal case. Using the tractor hydraulics and changing the position of the ripper, the milling depth is adjusted.

Loosening with a tiller reduces the compaction of the plow layers, affects the degree of grinding of soil and plant residues, improves the conditions for the development of the root system of plants and is an expedient type of cultivation for heavy soils.
